SWAT VALLEY PAKISTAN

Swat valley is the swterzerland of pakistan.swat valley very beautiful valley of pakistan. The valley of swat is of great historical significance including the cradle of many Buddhist part of Gandara. Gandara remains vast area extended from Sind in south to swat on north, where Buddhism was in peak. The art that developed in Gandara is known as Gandara Art. Gandara was specialized in settlement architecture and stone carving. The itineraries and travelogues of the Tibetan and Chinese pilgrims who visited this scared land from time to time provide the reliable source of information on swat vThe beautifull valley of swat is famous for its its GOD gifted natural beauty and rich of natural resources is ignored for years by officials. HUNZA VALLEY

A remote mountain kingdom, may have been the inspiration behind James Hilton's "Shangri-La." The area is opened by up in the 1970s following the completion of the Karakoram Highway (KKH); an engineering marvel tracing the old silk route from Pakistan into China. The fair skinned and light-eyed Hunzakuts claim to be descendants of soldiers lost from Alexander's army as he invaded India. Their language, Burushaski, provides linguists an enigma as it is unrelated to any other language known to man. The beauty of this mountain paradise is matchless; from the soft blossoms of the apricot trees to the dark snowcapped rock monuments of Rakaposhi (7788 m.) and recently climbed Ultar (7388 m.) jabbing a vivid blue backdrop high above.The temperature in May is maximum 27 °C (81 °F) and minimum 14 °C (57 °F) and October maximum is 10 °C (50 °F) and 0 °C (32 °F). Hunza's tourist season is from May to October, because in winter the Karakoram Highwayis often blocked by the snow.Hunza has provided the quickest access to Swat for a person travelling on foot. KAGAN VALLEY

The Kaghan Valley is located in Northern Pakistan northeast of Hazara, NWFP. It's one of the valleys that's relatively easy to reach from Rawalpindi / Islamabad. The mountain scenery, the dales, lakes, water-falls, streams and glaciers are the main reason to come here. The Valley extends for 155 km rising from an elevation of 2,134 meters to its highest point, the Babusar Pass, at 4,145 meters. Further north from Babusar Pass, a jeep track leads to Chilas, which is now on Karakoram Highway. Before Karakoram Highway was opened in 1978, the only road access to Gilgit was through Kaghan Valley.Kaghan valley is a very beautiful & attractive valley.the popular attraction of kagan valley is that,Balakot,Kawai,Naran,Lake Saiful MalukLulu Sar Lake,etc. The Kaghan Valley is accessible by road from Abbottabad. From Abbottabad, 72 km drive to Balakot, the gateway to Kaghan valley. Here you have to switch over to jeeps for your drive 100 km to Kaghan Valley.

KALASH VALLEY

The kalash valley is the beautiful valley of pakistan.The Kalash valleys of Chitral are located in the southern gorges of the Hindu Kush mountain range in Pakistan's Northwest Frontier Province. The area shares a 380-km border with Afghanistan in the north and west. To the east lies Gilgit, from where one can reach China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region along the legendary Karakoram Highway. The Kalash population decreased from 10,000 in 1951 to 3,700 in 1998, motivating conservation experts, development workers and anthropologists to work to preserve and protect the Kalash culture. The Kalash language is called Kalasha which is an archaic type of Indo- European language. it has a rich tradition of folklore, epics, love songs and idioms demonstrating a high standard of indigenous wisdom and human experience. This knowledge is believed to be at the verge of extinction. The new generation of Kalash does not know much about their non-material culture and heritage.The Kalasha follow a Polytheist religion based on ancestor worship, as well as 12 gods and goddesses dominated by the main god, Mahaneo.kalash famous festivel is that also,JOSHI or CHILIMJUSHT, UTCHAL,PHOO,CHAUMOS OR CHITIRMASand etc.The Kalash are friendly, hospitable and gentle. NEELUM VALLEY

Neelum Valley is the famous and beautiful vally of pakistan. About 240 kilometers long the picturesque Neelum Valley is situated to the North & North East of Muzaffarabad. It is separated from it by snow covered peaks, some over 4000 meters above sea level. Excellent scenic beauty, panoramic view, towering hills on both sides of the noisy Neelum river, lush green forests, enchanting streams, high altitude lakes and attractive surroundings make the valley a dream come true. The swaying lush green forests, snow capped mountains, streams singing songs of joy, and fast flowing river Neelum, all go together to make it naturalist’s wonderland. This area is also ideal for mountain tourism. A part of Nanga Parbat Massif falls in this area which is dominated by "Sarwaali Peak" (6326 meters) the highest mountain in Azad Kashmir. Moreover like Kaghan Valley it is famous for fishing and angling activities in Neelum river and Jagran nullah which are stocked with trout fish. There are two approaches to the valley.
